We strategically designed a multifaceted promotional campaign In anticipation of the premier of the satirical mockumentary Citizen Weiner, which chronicles actor Zack Weiner's real-life run for New York City Council during the pandemic.
In anticipation of the 2024 release of Citizen Weiner, a mockumentary blending reality and satire by following actor Zack Weiner's genuine campaign for New York City Council amidst the pandemic, done in collaboration with One Man Army Productions, we launched an immersive promotional campaign aimed at amplifying the film's visibility and resonance.
Central to our strategy was a partnership with the iconic Gray’s Papaya, where we introduced the “Citizen’s Weiner” — a limited-edition hot dog that playfully mirrored the film's themes. This collaboration not only offered a tangible connection to the movie's narrative but also generated buzz through culinary novelty.
To further engage the public, we assembled a dynamic street team tasked with distributing promotional materials and fostering conversations across key New York City neighborhoods, effectively bringing the film's spirit to the streets.
Our creative team developed a suite of promotional assets, including eye-catching signage and a custom step-and-repeat backdrop, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal. We also played a pivotal role in coordinating the logistics of the film's premiere and subsequent afterparty, delivering a cohesive and memorable experience that encapsulated the film's unique blend of humor and political commentary.
